Safeguard your feline friend from harmful diseases with a vaccination plan.
Preventative care is important in ensuring your kitten is given the best opportunity to live a healthy life. Your veterinarian will work with you to implement a wellness check-up, vaccinations, and a preventative maintenance schedule.
Kittens vaccines are generally started around 8 weeks of age.
The initial vaccine is boosted again at 12 weeks of age and again at 16 weeks of age. One of our veterinarians will implement a complete vaccination schedule for your kitten to help them stay current.
Kittens require the core vaccines RCP (just like adult cats) plus the FeLV vaccination. FeLV is used to vaccinate them against the Feline Leukemia Virus. Kittens are required to have a set of 2 of this vaccine. The first being done at 8 weeks of age with the booster repeated in 4 weeks. They are also given a Rabies vaccine with the last set of the core vaccinations once the kitten has reached 16 weeks of age.
